ANYWAY, the following tale goes back to early june, when we had made an appointment to get our Cat Nimbus, spayed, and wouldn't ya know it? just days before we were gonna take her to get fixed, she espaced, and was gone for two days. Once she returned...well, it doesn't really take a genius to figure out what happened. Lets just say her tummy's been getting bigger ever since.
but that all changed last night, when Six Beautiful kittens were born. the First came out at 3AM, and the last, not until 4:30! much to our dismay, they are all the same colour; jet black just like their mama, soo, we can't really tell them apart...except for their numbers of toes! some have normal 4-5 toes per paw, but among the clutch, there are 6, 7, and what appears to be 8 toed inividuals! aaand, I've already picked out names C:
they are:
-Pythagoras (after the mathematician)
-Matagot (after a cat from a french Fairy-tale)
-Tempest (a proper name for the baby of a cat named nimbus)
-Drama (because she hasn't shut up since she came out)
-Frodo (keeping up our family's tradition of LotR named pets)
aaaand,
-Millsy (because his paws look like goalie mits :>)
my mom isn't exactly taken on the names. she thinks we should name one "Goblin," and that very well could work....for any of them XD they all look like goblins right now ^^
sooo, yes,
I shall post photos asap <3

My uncle used to be stationed in Cairo, and from what he told us, there seemed to be more cats than people there too. but because they're all strays, everyone fears that they have rabies, and so no one takes them in ;_;
but yes, I name all the animals I see ^^ from the birds at the there's these two fawns I call mutt and jeff, because their so funny when they play together ^^ and a seagull I call Fatso, and some other birds at my bird feeder, blackbeard and Fancy-face, nd I've named toads etc. XD I guess my names aren't as eloquent, but yay for naming animals that aren't pets ^^
I've heard that about Cairo, too. In every documentary film about Cairo I've ever seen, there is always a bunch of cats passing by behind the narrator
Completely yay!
I like their names!
