the teenage cast of the first gundam, who were piloting mobile suits and working aboard sparkly new battle ships before entrusting top secret military technology, to angsty feral teenagers became an anime clichee.

Amuro Rei, (the red poofy one) is the emo protagonist, was the first gundam pilot evaar, because he found the manual on the ground...no really lol he moonlights as Bright's punching bag

Sayla Mass (the blond angry one) is the resident cold hard bitch, and she totally isn't artesia daikun. she was mostly in charge of communications , but she stole the gundam a few times and was then in charge of piloting some of the gundam's cool add on bits

Frau Bow (the vacant one) is the resident fan service doll and also amuro's babysitter...srsly

Hayato kobayashi ( the shrimp) he used to co pilot the guntank with Ryo Jose...who ended up dead. in the movie version he later gets his own shiney guncannon. also, he knows judo so don't fuck with him

Kai shiden (the blue wiseass) is both Bright and Sayla's punching bag. he's an all purpose dickweed and has been known to smuggle enemy spies onboard. he also pilots the guncannon which is like the gundam's neanderthall cousin, but with sweet shoulder mounted guns. also, he's my favourite character, so there


oh and haro (the green sphere) is amuro's pet only friend tamogachi that he built because he's a loser
